Introducing Our New Business: Neurodiverse Thinking

Join Emma Butler, founder of Neurodiverse Thinking, as she explains how this exciting new venture will offer empowerment, support, neurodiversity training and consultancy services to parents, teachers and schools, across the Isle of Man.

For parents of children with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence, along with ESO's, teachers and school leadership staff.

Staff Training

One-hour training sessions that can be combined to form half-day or full-day training events.

• Dyslexia awareness and identification.

• The dyslexia friendly classroom and effective classroom strategies.

• Support for dyslexic learners in subjects across the curriculum.

• Numeracy difficulties with dyslexia vs dyscalculia.

• SpLD characteristics and general support strategies.

One-hour training £150

Half-day = Two sessions £285

Full-day = Four sessions £550

Action Plan Development

Consultancy services are based around a four-stage process, designed to identify the areas where improvement is most likely to be effective.

We will develop a SMART action plan and work together to improve provision for dyslexic learners.

Consultancy Rate £65 / hour

Parent Workshops

We currently offer dyslexia awareness sessions and skills workshops for parents, to be hosted within schools.

Link these with staff training sessions to promote common understanding and strategies at school and at home for your learners with dyslexia.

Use parent workshops within school to promote strong and positive relationships between school staff and parents.
