Together We Shine (Ages 7 - 11)

This engaging 5 lesson programme is designed to introduce children to the concept of neurodiversity in a fun, age-appropriate and inclusive way. Through creative activities, storytelling, discussion, and group work, pupils explore how we all experience the world differently — and why that’s something to celebrate.

Each session builds understanding and empathy, helping pupils recognise individual strengths, appreciate different perspectives, and reflect on how to create more inclusive and kind environments at school.

The programme supports PSHE and inclusion goals, encouraging thoughtful dialogue and practical actions for a more neuro-inclusive school culture.

Topics covered include:

  • Understanding how brains work differently (neurodiversity).

  • Celebrating individual strengths and teamwork.

  • Exploring how environments can include or exclude.

  • Fairness, kindness, and emotional awareness.

  • Imagining and designing a more inclusive school of the future.

The Neurodiversity sessions were engaging and tailored perfectly to the needs of our class, really raising awareness amongst the children. It was clear that a lot of time and effort had gone into linking each task to the school's Core Values. It was a valuable experience which would definitely benefit any classroom!
